VESTAL, N.Y. - Binghamton men's basketball returns to the road for the first of two away games this week when the Bearcats (2-3) face Atlantic 10 member Saint Joseph's (3-3) Wednesday night in Philadelphia. The teams will tip at 7 p.m. at Hagan Arena in a game shown on ESPN+. It will be the fourth road game in the last five for BU, which then has five straight home games on the horizon.Â
The Bearcats eased back into action after Thanksgiving with a 110-41 win over Hartwick on Sunday.Â
Junior guard
Dan Petcash poured in 21 points in his season debut after rehabbing an injury. After five games, junior guard
Tyler Bertram leads the team in scoring (12.4). He is shooting 48 percent from 3-point range and 53 percent overall from the field. Sophomore guardsÂ
Kellen Amos (10.8 ppg.) and
John McGriff (10.6) are also averaging double digits. The team is rebounding as a group with six different players pulling down three or more boards per game.Â
The Hawks are coming off a 77-74 win over Georgetown Friday in Anaheim, Calif. Saint Joseph's put three in double figures, built a 10-point halftime lead and held off the Hoyas.   Â

Returning home after Thanksgiving, BU exploded for 110 points in a record-setting performance against Division III Hartwick. Six players reached double figures and BU shot 65% in the lopsided win.
