STORY LINES
 
- Binghamton (3-4) lost 79-68 at Lehigh on Saturday against a Mountain Hawk team ranked No. 19 in the College Insider Mid-Major Poll. Junior guard Denai Bowman poured in a career-high 27 points to go along with four rebounds, two blocks and four steals. Junior forward Birna Benonysdottir added 19 points.
 
- Bowman ranks third in the America East with 13.3 points per game. She is also tied for first with 2.4 steals per game, is fourth with 3.4 assists per game and fifth with 1.0 blocks per contest. Junior forward Clare Traeger, meanwhile, is second in the conference with 8.1 steals per game. As a team, the Bearcats rank second in the America East in scoring (65.1 ppg.), assists (14.4 apg.) and steals (10.00 spg).
 
- Pitt-Johnstown (3-4) is a NCAA Division II school that competes in the Pennsylvania State Athlete Conference (PSAC). Most recently, the Mountain Cats defeated Millersville 63-56. Makalyn Clapper netted a career-high 23 points in the victory.
 
- Cassidy Crawford leads the Mountain Cats with 12.8 points and 7.5 rebounds per game so far this season.
 
- Binghamton and Pitt-Johnstown meet for the first time in 21 years, when both teams competed at the Division II level. The Bearcats own a 2-0 lead in the all-time series. The most recent meeting was a 79-65 Binghamton win on Dec. 8, 2000 in the opening round of the West Chester (Pa.) Tournament.
