VESTAL, N.Y. - Fresh off a 25-13 win over Drexel, Binghamton wrestling will head to Long Island for a dual against LIU and Hofstra Saturday. The Bearcats have been rounding into form, putting together a solid showing against No. 10 Virginia Tech and West Virginia before the victory over the Dragons.Â

The Bearcats won six of ten bouts against Drexel last weekend, three with bonus points. DePrez and Doyle registered back-to-back technical falls and Sobotker finished the evening with a pin to put away the match.

The 141 and 149-pound spots have been thriving of late for BU. Ryan Anderson has won five straight bouts and is 9-5 this season. This week, he entered the InterMat national rankings for the first time. 149-pounder Nick Lombard has won four bouts in a row and is second on the team with 14 wins.

Veteran's No. 13 DePrez and No. 20 Doyle continue to lead Binghamton. They have consistently garnered national recognition. DePrez is tied for the most wins amongst all 197-pounders. He has won six bouts in a row and 11 of his last 12. All three of Doyle's most recent wins have been by bonus points.

Anthony Sobotker is tied with Tanner Cook of South Dakota State with 11 pins this season, a mark that leads the nation. He has contributed 42 team points in duals, which leads the team.
