STORY LINES
 
- Binghamton (4-9, 0-3 AE) lost 58-48 at NJIT on Saturday afternoon. Junior guard Denai Bowman finished with 14 points, three rebounds, three assists, two blocks and a steal. Junior forward Birna Benonysdottir netted 13 points - marking the 10th straight game she has reached double figures in scoring. Junior forward Clare Traeger, meanwhile, tied her career high with 13 rebounds.
 
- Benonysdottir ranks second in the America East with 16.3 points per game while Bowman is third (13.5 ppg.). Bowman also ranks second in assists (4.2 apg.) and is tied for fourth in steals (1.8 spg.). Traeger, meanwhile, leads the conference in rebounding (8.9 rpg).
 
- As a team, Binghamton is third in the conference in scoring (61.8 ppg.), rebounding (36.3 rpg.) and steals (7.69 spg.). In addition, the Bearcats lead the nation in three-point field goal percentage defense (.205).
 
- Hartford (1-16, 1-5 AE) lost 71-44 to visiting Vermont on Saturday. Paula Maurina, who leads the Hawks with 10.7 points per game, scored a team-best 14 points against the Catamounts.
 
- Carmer Villalobos leads the Hawks and ranks ninth in the America East with 6.0 rebounds per game. She is also third in the America East with 1.9 steals per game.
 
- Hartford leads the all-time series 30-15. Last year, the teams split a pair of games at the Events Center. The Hawks won  64-54 on Jan. 2, 2021 but the Bearcats came back with a 52-44 triumph the following day. Bowman had 22 points in the second game.
