Lara Kaplan earned wins at the top two singles positions but host Le Moyne (6-3) prevailed over Binghamton women's tennis (0-1) 5-2 in a dual match Tuesday afternoon at Skytop Tennis Courts.
Aruj improved to 10-1 with a 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 1 singles. Kaplan posted a 6-0, 6-3 at No. 2 singles.Â
But the host Dolphins began the day with three doubles wins to capture the opening point. Le Moyne then used singles wins at Nos. 3-6 to seal the win.
Binghamton next competes at the University of Buffalo Invitational on Oct. 16.
