STORY LINES

- Binghamton (4-3) went 0-2 this past weekend at the FAU Thanksgiving Classic. The Bearcats were defeated 51-41 by the host Owls last Friday and 78-51 by Butler the following day. Senior guard Denai Bowman led the Bearcats with 13.5 points per game during the tournament. 

- Bowman leads the Bearcats and ranks eighth in the America East with 11.7 points per game. She is also tied for second in both blocks (1.7 bpg.) and steals (2.3 spg.). In addition, Bowman is fifth in the conference in assists (3.1 apg.). Senior forward Clare Traeger leads the America East with 9.4 rebounds per game while redshirt freshman guard Jadyn Weltz is third in assists (4.1 apg.). As a team, the Bearcats lead the America East in rebounding (40.0 rpg), blocks (4.14 bpg.) and three-point field goal percentage defense (.231). 

- Cornell (3-4) lost 71-52 at Rutgers on Sunday. Kaya Ingram and Mia Beam each finished with a team-best 11 points. Ingram also posted six rebounds and six assists.

-  Ania McNichols leads the Big Red with 9.1 points per game. She is also first on the team with 3.3 steals per contest. Emily Pape, meanwhile, is averaging a team-best 6.4 rebounds per game.

- Binghamton leads the all-time series against Cornell 12-8. Most recently, however, the Big Red won 67-57 at the Events Center on Nov. 17, 2021. Traeger led the Bearcats with 14 points in that game while current sophomore forward Genevieve Coleman added 10 points. In the last meeting at Cornell, Binghamton took a 59-56 decision on Dec. 5, 2019.
