STORY LINES
 
- Binghamton (5-15, 1-9 AE) lost 47-24 to Vermont on Wednesday night at the Events Center. Junior forward Birna Benonysdottir netted a team-high 15 points while junior forward Clare Traeger pulled down a game-high and career-best 18 rebounds.
 
- Benonysdottir ranks second in the America East with 14.5 points per game while junior guard Denai Bowman is third (14.2 ppg.). Bowman is also fourth in assists (3.6 ppg.) and tied for third in steals (1.8 spg.). Traeger leads the conference in rebounding (8.6 rpg.) while Benonysdottir is tied for ninth in blocks (0.9 bpg.).
 
- As a team, Binghamton is fourth in the conference in scoring defense (58.4 ppg.). The Bearcats are also first in the nation in three-point field goal percentage defense (.211).
 
- New Hampshire (4-17, 1-9 AE) lost 64-48 at NJIT on Wednesday night. Amanda Torres led a balanced offense with 13 points.
 
- Torres ranks No. 14 in the America East in scoring (11.1 ppg.), is tied for seventh in assists (2.9 apg.) and is second in steals (2.9 spg.). New Hampshire leads the conference with 8.86 steals per game.
 
- Binghamton leads the all-time series against New Hampshire 25-18, having won the past three meetings at Lundholm Gym. Last year, the two teams split a pair of games at the Events Center. The Wildcats won 57-52 on Jan. 10 but the Bearcats took a 58-56 decision the following day.
