STORY LINES

- Binghamton (5-12, 1-6 AE) lost 49-48 to first-place Stony Brook on Wednesday night. Junior guard Denai Bowman scored a game-high 16 points while junior forward Jalyn Van Dyke scored a career-high 15 points. Junior forward Clare Traeger pulled down a game-high nine rebounds.

- Junior forward Birna Benonysdottir ranks second in the America East with 15.5 points per game while Bowman is third (14.2 ppg.). Bowman is also tied for second both in assists (3.9 apg.) and steals (1.9 spg.). Traeger, meanwhile, leads the conference in rebounding (8.4 rpg.).

- As a team, Binghamton is third in the conference in scoring (59.8 ppg.) and fourth in blocks (3.00 bpg). The Bearcats are also first in the nation in three-point field goal percentage defense (.210).

- Maine (9-10, 6-3 AE) won 52-38 at UMass Lowell on Wednesday night for its third straight victory. Olivia Rockwood led three players in double figures with 13 points.

- Anne Simon leads the America East in both scoring (16.4 ppg.) and steals (3.4 spg.). Maeve Carroll ranks second with 7.8 rebounds per game while Alba Orois is tops in assists (5.4 apg.). 

- Maine leads the all-time series 27-15, having won the past three meetings. Last season, the Black Bears swept a pair of meetings at the Events Center, winning 67-46 on Jan. 10 and 70-53 the following day. Including this weekend, the two teams will be squaring off at the Events Center four straight games.
