STORY LINES
 
- Binghamton (9-7, 2-1 AE) has been off since winning 59-45 at New Hampshire on Jan. 4. Sophomore forward Genevieve Coleman netted a team-high 17 points while redshirt freshman guard Ella Wanzer finished with 13 points. The victory was the second straight for the Bearcats.
 
- Senior guard Denai Bowman leads the Bearcats and ranks seventh in the America East with 12.3 points per game. She is also first in steals (2.3 spg.) and is fifth in blocks (1.0 bpg.) Senior forward Clare Traeger leads the America East with 8.5 rebounds per game and redshirt freshman guard Jadyn Weltz is third with 3.6 assists per game.
 
- As a team, the Bearcats are first in the America East in both rebounding (37.9 rpg.) and steals (8.75 spg.). Binghamton is also third in assists (13.19 apg.) and scoring (60.5 ppg.).
 
- NJIT (7-8, 2-1 AE) lost 69-63 to Maine on Saturday at home. Alejandra Zuniga came off the bench to net a team-high 16 points. Kenna Squier add 14 points while Aria Myers chipped in 10 points. 
 
- Myers leads the Highlanders and is tied for No. 14 in the America East with 10.4 points per game. Trinity Williams is fourth in the conference with 1.2 blocks per game and is No. 14 with 5.4 rebounds per contest.
 
- Binghamton leads the all-time series against NJIT 4-3 but since the Highlanders joined the America East in 2020, they have won both meetings. Last year, NJIT won 66-64 at the Events Center as well as 58-48 in Newark on Jan. 22. Bowman averaged 12.0 points per game while Traeger averaged 12.5 rebounds per contest against NJIT.
