STORY LINES
 
- Binghamton (10-9, 3-3 AE) lost 64-60 to first-place UAlbany on Wednesday. Redshirt freshman guard Ella Wanzer - the current America East Rookie of the Week - scored a game-high 21 points while senior guard Denai Bowman added 18 points. Wanzer has now reached the 20-point mark in three straight games. Redshirt freshman guard Jadyn Weltz finished with six points, five assists and five steals.
 
- Wanzer and Bowman are tied for seventh in the America East with 11.9 points per game. Bowman is also first with 2.2 steals per contest. Senior forward Clare Traeger ranks second in rebounding (8.3 rpg.) while Weltz is second in assists (3.9 apg.). 
 
- As a team, the Bearcats are first in the America East in steals (9.00 spg.). Binghamton is also second in both assists (13.37 apg.) and rebounding (37.7 rpg.) and is third in scoring (61.2 ppg.).
 
- Maine (8-9, 4-1 AE) lost 61-52 to visiting Vermont on Wednesday night. Anne Simon scored 17 points scored 17 points against the Catamounts while Adrianna Smith finished with 13 points. Jaycie Christopher, meanwhile, added 11 points.
 
- Smith is first in the America East with 8.6 rebounds per game and is second in scoring (14.6 ppg.). As a team, the Black Bears are first in assists (13.94 apg.).
 
- Maine leads the all-time series against Binghamton 29-15, having won the past five meetings. Last season, the Black Bears swept both games at the Events Center (Feb. 4 & 6) by scores of 54-45 and 48-46. Binghamton's last win over Maine was a 73-63 triumph on Jan. 18, 2020 at home.
