"That's a very good team that beat us tonight," head coach
Bethann Shapiro Ord said. "We did a good job guarding Utterback even though she had 14 points but Richason had a great game. We needed to get the crucial rebounds tonight. We can't take a play off and we got to play 40 minutes. We battled again tonight but it wasn't good enough."
Coleman finished with nine points and five rebounds for the Bearcats.
Gilwee finished with nine points in the winning effort. Olson tied Richason for the team lead with six rebounds.
Binghamton travels to Bryant on Saturday for a 1 p.m. game.
NOTES: The Bearcats' five conference defeats have all come by seven points or less … Bowman now has 1,082 points and continues to rank No. 16 all time in Binghamton program history.
