STORY LINES

- Binghamton (2-6) lost 58-57 to Cornell on Wednesday at the Events Center. Graduate student forward Shannon O'Connor netted a team-best 14 points while redshirt sophomore guard Jadyn Weltz finished with 10 points, eight rebounds, four assists and three steals.

- Redshirt sophomore guard Ella Wanzer leads the Bearcats and is ninth in the America East with 11.9 points per game. Weltz is No. 12 with 10.4 points per game, is second with 4.3 rebounds and No. 14 with 5.6 rebounds per contest. Graduate student guard Denai Bowman is averaging 10.8 points per game while junior forward Genevieve Coleman has 10.1 points per night.

- As a team, Binghamton ranks second in the America East with 65.9 points per game and 14.25 assists per contest. In addition, the Bearcats are first with a .431 field goal percentage as well as a .373 three-point field goal percentage.
- Playing in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), Pittsburgh (3-5) defeated St. Francis (Pa.) 87-62 on Wednesday night. Liatu King paced six Panther players in double figures with a game-high 23 points.

- King leads Pittsburgh and ranks third in the ACC with 20.6 points per game. She is also second in the conference in rebounding (11.4 rpg.), fourth in blocks (2.0 bpg.) and is tied for No. 11 in steals (1.9 spg.).

- This marks the first-ever meeting between Binghamton and Pittsburgh in women's basketball. It also marks the sixth time in program history that the Bearcats have faced a team from the ACC. In the previous five games, Binghamton has faced Syracuse (twice), Miami (twice) and Notre Dame (once).
