STORY LINES
 
- Binghamton (2-7) lost 73-62 at Pittsburgh on Sunday evening. Redshirt sophomore Ella Wanzer netted a game-high 20 points while fellow redshirt sophomore guard Jadyn Weltz finished with 11 points, six assists, four rebounds and a pair of steals. Sophomore forward Camryn Fauria added nine points and four rebounds while graduate student guard Denai Bowman dished out six assists to go along with four points and four steals.
 
- Wanzer leads the Bearcats and is eighth in the America East with 12.8 points per game. Weltz is No. 12 with 10.9 points per game and leads the conference with 4.4 assists per game. Bowman is averaging 10.8 points per game and is tied for sixth with 1.3 steals per game.
 
- As a team, Binghamton ranks second in the America East with 65.4 points per game and is tied for first with 15.00 assists per contest. In addition, the Bearcats are first with a .427 field goal percentage as well as a .378 three-point field goal percentage and 8.2 three-point field goals per game.
 
- Playing in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Canisius (3-3) has been off since its 63-56 win at St. Bonaventure on Nov. 30. Mackenize Amalia scored a season-best 20 points while Sisi Eleko grabbed a game high 13 rebounds.
 
- Eleko ranks second in the MAAC with 16.3 points per game and is first with 11.5 rebounds. Amalia, meanwhile, is second with 4.3 rebounds per contest.
 
- Canisius leads the all-time series 8-4 but the Bearcats have won the past two meetings. Most recently, Binghamton took a 75-72 road decision on Nov. 20, 2022. Wanzer had 19 points and Bowman finished with 16 points in the victory.
