- Binghamton wrestling fell to No. 5 Cornell in front of a soldout crowd of 1,500 at Hilton High School. The Bearcats got the dual started with a victory at 125 pounds by
Micah Roes. Roes cruised to an 8-2 win over Joe Sciarrone. No. 31
Brevin Cassella won by decision at 165 pounds over Benny Baker, 7-2. At 184 pounds, No. 22
Jacob Nolan pinned Ethan Hatcher in 3:42. No. 27
Cory Day had a come-from-behind ranked win, 3-2, over No. 30 Brendan Furman at heavyweight.

Sam DePrez, and
Lou DePrez were honored by their alma mater, along with Cornell wrestlers Greg and Yianni Diakomihalis, in a pre-match ceremony. They received a lengthy ovation from the crowd.
Highlights
- At 125 pounds, Micah Roes scored three takedowns en route to a 8-2 decision win over Joe Sciarrone. Roes scored an early first period takedown to take a 2-0 lead. After Sciarrone escaped twice to tie the bout at 2-2, Roes recorded another takedown with 45 seconds left in the second period. Roes increased his riding time advantage to 2:38 before the period ended. In the third, Roes escaped to take a 5-2 lead and scored another takedown with 30 seconds left in the period to take a 7-2 lead. Roes accumulated 3:01 of RT in the match.

- No. 31 Brevin Cassella won a 7-2 decision over Benny Baker at 165 pounds. Cassella scored a takedown in each of the first two periods. Cassella improved his win streak to 10
- No. 22 Jacob Nolan pinned Ethan Hatcher in 3:42. After a scoreless first period, Nolan locked up a cradle in the second period to secure the victory.
- After trailing 2-0 due to a stall call and an escape at the end of the second period, No. 27 Cory Day reversed No. 30 Brendan Furman to tie the bout ay 2-2. Day rode out the third period to flip the script and win a 3-2 decision. Day accumulated a 1:42 of his riding time in the third period.

Binghamton will wrestle a pair of duals on February 17. Kyle Borshoff will return to his alma mater as the Bearcats will wrestle American at 1 p.m. After that dual, the Bearcats will head to Maryland for a 6 p.m. dual with the Terps.
