NEWARK, N.J. - Host NJIT took the doubles point and after the teams split the six singles matches, that slim margin stood as Binghamton men's tennis lost 4-3 to the Highlanders at Naimoli Tennis Center.

Binnie and Lotlikar won for the second straight day and for Lotlikar, it was his team-high 11th win of the year.Â
Binghamton begins four straight home matches with a 7 p.m. tilt against Bryant Friday at the Lane - Starke Tennis Center. Â
