STORY LINES

- Binghamton (13-12, 6-6 AE) lost 63-53 at UAlbany on Saturday afternoon. Redshirt freshman guard Jadyn Weltz led three players in double figures with 14 points. Senior forward Clare Traeger and freshman guard Meghan Casey added 11 points apiece. Traeger and Weltz each grabbed eight rebounds and redshirt freshman guard Ella Wanzer had seven rebounds.

- Senior guard Denai Bowman ranks sixth in the America East in scoring (12.6 ppg.). Weltz is first with 2.4 steals per game and tied for first in assists (4.2 apg.). Traeger is second with 8.8 rebounds per game.

- Wanzer ranks first in the America East in three-point field goals per game (2.7) and three-point field goal percentage (.419). In addition, she is ranked No. 25 in the nation in three-point field goals per game.

- As a team, the Bearcats are first in the America East in steals (8.84 spg.) Binghamton is also second in both rebounding (37.3 rpg.) and assists (13.24 apg.) and is fourth in scoring (61.7 ppg.).

- NJIT (12-12, 7-5 AE) won 56-54 over host Maine on Saturday. Alejandra Zuniga was one of four members scoring double digits with a team-high 16 points. She was joined by Kenna Squier (11), Aria Myers (10), and Trinity Williams (10). Squier also racked up nine rebounds.

- Squier is second in the America East in field goal percentage (.503). Williams ranks number four in blocked shots (1.3 bpg), and Zuniga ranks tenth in scoring (11.7 ppg).

- The series between Binghamton and NJIT is tied at 4-4. The Highlanders, however, have won the past three meetings. Most recently, the Highlanders won 62-57 at the Events Center back on Jan. 11. Wanzer led all scorers with a career-high 26 points.
