STORY LINES
 
- Binghamton (13-15, 6-9 AE) lost 67-54 to Vermont on Wednesday evening at the Events Center. Senior guard Denai Bowman was the top scorer and led the Bearcats with 16 points. Redshirt freshman guard Ella Wanzer added eight points and senior forward Clare Traeger grabbed nine rebounds.

- Bowman ranks fifth in the America East in scoring (12.8 ppg.) and is also tied for fifth with 1.0 blocks per game. Weltz is first in steals (2.5spg.) and second in assists (4.2 apg.). Traeger is second with 8.7 rebounds per game.

- Wanzer ranks first in the America East in three-point field goals per game (2.5) and second in three-point field goal percentage (.411). In addition, she is ranked No. 28 in the nation in three-point field goal percentage.

- As a team, the Bearcats are first in the America East in steals (8.86 spg.) Binghamton is also second in rebounding (36.4 rpg.), third in assists (12.79 apg.) and fourth in scoring (61.2 ppg.)

- Maine (14-13, 10-5 AE) won 80-67 at home against New Hampshire on Wednesday. Caroline Bornemann led the Black Bears with 22 points. Adrianna Smith and Anne Simon each added 19 points apiece. Smith and Borneman also each grabbed seven rebounds.

- Smith is leading the entire stat sheet, holding first in the America East in scoring (17.5ppg.) and rebounding (9.1rpg.). She is also third in field goal percentage (.501) and four in assists (3.4 apg).

- Maine leads the all-time series against Binghamton 30-15, having won the past five meetings – all at the Events Center. Most recently, the Bearcats lost 50-46 on Jan. 21. Sophomore forward Genevieve Coleman led the Bearcats in scoring with 16 points. Traeger had 15 rebounds and Weltz added 10 rebounds. Smith led the Black Bears with 17 points and 15 rebounds.

- Binghamton will be the No. 6 seed in the upcoming America East Tournament. Depending on who gets the No. 3 seed, the Bearcats' first round game on Wednesday will either be at Maine or UMBC.
