- Binghamton's game against UAlbany marks its first-ever Throwback Game. As part of the event theme, the women's team will wear Colonials' jerseys in honor of the program's pre-Division I era, which ran until 2001. Binghamton's nickname was the Colonials through the 1998-99 academic year.
- Binghamton (5-10, 0-2 AE) lost 61-52 to Bryant on Thursday before a program-record 3,429 fans at the Events Center on Youth Day. Junior forward

Ella Wanzer leads the Bearcats and is eighth in the America East with 12.2 points per game. She also ranks second in the conference - and is tied for No. 16 in the nation - with 2.93 three-point field goals per game. Weltz, meanwhile, leads the America East with 5.0 assists per game.
- As a team, Binghamton ranks first in the America East with 7.5 three-point field goals per game. The Bearcats are also first with 15.27 assists per contest and are third with 64.3 points per game.
- UAlbany (13-2, 2-0 AE) has won nine straight games. Most recently, the Great Danes won 77-36 over NJIT at home last Saturday. Helene Haegerstrand led four UAlbany players in double figures with 15 points against the Highlanders.
- UAlbany is tied for first in the nation with Washington in scoring defense (50.1 ppg.). The Great Danes also lead the America East in scoring offense (68.7 ppg.). Individually, Kayla Cooper ranks sixth in the conference in scoring (15.2 ppg.) and rebounding (6.8 rpg.) and is seventh in steals (1.7 spg.)
- UAlbany leads the all-time series 48-27, having won the past four meetings. Last year, the Great Danes won 64-60 at the Events Center on Jan. 18 as well as 63-53 in overtime at home on Feb. 11.
