Women's Basketball Hosts UNH in "Nirchi's Fill the Events Center" Game

STORY LINES
 
-  Binghamton's game against New Hampshire marks its "Nirchi's Fill the Events Center" Game. Since Jan. 10, fans have been able to pick up coupons for free admission to the game at all local Nirchi's Restaurants.

- Binghamton (6-12, 1-4 AE) defeated UMass Lowell 70-65 on Saturday afternoon. Graduate student guard Denai Bowman scored 21 points while redshirt sophomore guard Jadyn Weltz added 20 points. Junior forward Genevieve Colman grabbed a career-high 11 rebounds. 

- Redshirt sophomore guard Ella Wanzer leads the Bearcats and is No. 10 in the America East with 11.0 points per game. She also ranks second in the conference - and is tied for No. 44 in the nation - with 2.6 three-point field goals per game. Weltz, meanwhile, is second in the America East with 4.5 assists per game as well as a 1.4 assists-to-turnover ratio.
 
- As a team, Binghamton is tied for second in the America East with 6.8 three-point field goals per game. The Bearcats are also fourth with 14.00 assists per contest and third with a 1.01 assists-to-turnover ratio.
 
- New Hampshire (8-11, 2-4 AE) defeated UMBC 56-37 on Saturday. Maggie Cavanaugh netted a team-high 13 points to go along with five rebounds and three assists. Bella Stuart added 10 points and two rebounds.
 
- Clara Gomez is tied for third in the conference with 1.8 steals per game and is ranked fourth with 3.5 assists per game. As a team, New Hampshire is first in the conference with 9.74 steals per game.
 
- Binghamton leads the all-time series against New Hampshire 34-18. The Bearcats won the last three match ups, with the most recent victory being a 75-53 triumph over the Wildcats on Feb. 8, 2023 at the Events Center.
