VESTAL, N.Y. - Binghamton women's soccer will look to extend its unbeaten streak when the Bearcats (5-5-3, 2-2-1 America East) travel to Burlington to face Vermont (8-4-3, 3-3 AE) on Sunday. Game time is noon at Virtue Field with the broadcast shown on ESPN+. The teams are separated by two points in the standings with two weeks remaining in the regular season.
Binghamton is coming off a 1-1 home draw against NJIT on Thursday. The tie pushed the Bearcats' unbeaten streak to three after back-to-back one-goal wins over UMBC and Bryant. Senior forward

The Bearcats are in a tie for fifth place (With UAlbany) in the standings with three regular season games remaining. Still in play is a top-4 finish, which would come with a home playoff game.Â
Vermont is coming off a 3-0 home win over UAlbany on Thursday. The Catamounts have won three of their last four and are in a two-way tie for third place (with Bryant). The team is the most potent in the conference, having scored 29 goals, nearly two per outing. Reigning first team all-conference selections Bailey Ayer and Kate Bossert have combined for 17 goals and 41 points. Â
Binghamton leads the all-time series 13-10, thanks to five straight head-to-head wins. Last October, the Bearcats prevailed 2-0 at home. Binghamton hopes to replicate the 2022 game in Burlington, when it shook off an early 1-0 deficit and scored six goals (all in the first half) in 21 minutes - all in the first half - to win 6-1. The Bearcats are 6-6 all-time at Virtue Field.  Â
