Women’s Basketball Welcomes Bryant

Bearcats and Bulldogs tip off on Saturday at 2 p.m.

STORY LINES

- Binghamton (11-8, 3-3 AE) lost 79-55 at UAlbany Saturday. Sophomore guard Bella Pucci led the Bearcats with 15 points, including three 3-pointers, marking her sixth double-digit game this season. Freshman center Abby Misier also matched her season-high with six rebounds during the contest.

- Redshirt junior guard Jadyn Weltz ranks third in the America East in steals (2.2 spg.), sixth in assists (3.1 apg.), and No. 10 in scoring (10.5 ppg.). Sophomore guard Bella Pucci places eighth in the conference in rebounds, averaging 5.4 per game.  

- As a team, Binghamton leads the conference in both steals (8.6 spg.) and rebounding (35.4 rpg.). The Bearcats also rank third in scoring defense (58.1 ppg.) and fourth in scoring offense (61.6 ppg.). 

- Ali Brigham's buzzer-beater lifted Bryant (10-9, 3-3 AE) to a 42-41 win over New Hampshire on Thursday night at home. Mimi Rubino led the Bulldogs with a season-high 11 points, while Brigham dominated the boards with eight rebounds. She also notched eight points, three assists, two blocks and a steal. 

- Nia Scott leads the America East with 8.4 rebounds per game. Brigham places second in the conference in blocks per game (1.1 bpg.). Breezie Williams, meanwhile, ranks seventh with 11.2 points per game. 

- As a team, Bryant ranks third in the America East in rebounds with an average of 34.9 per contest. Additionally, the Bulldogs rank fourth in assists (12.7 apg.) and fifth in blocks (2.5 bpg.). 

- Binghamton leads the all-time series against Bryant 6-2. Bryant, however, picked up a 62-51 against the Bearcats on the road on Jan. 11, along with a 55-51 win at home on Feb. 10. In the playoffs, theBearcats defeated the Bulldogs 56-51 on March 8 in the America East quarterfinal.
