BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Binghamton wrestling team (1-0) opened its dual season with a 24-13 victory over Bloomsburg (5-6, 0-1 MAC) Saturday at Nelson Field House. The victory was Head Coach
Ryan LeBlanc's first with the program.
"It was a good start," said LeBlanc. "We kind of had to get that start. I think it was good for our kids to feel that, and we'll improve."

- No. 26 Carter Baer improved to 7-2 on the season, only needing 1:59 to pick up a 16-0 technical fall against Vasilios Dimou in the 174 lb., bout.
- In his Binghamton debut, Mikey Squires shut out Coy Raines 4-0 in the 197 lb., match. The Princeton transfer
- After falling in the opening match, the Bearcats bounced back with four wins in a row to take a 12-4 lead. Dillon Arrick, Ryan Hartung, Caleb Sweet and Fin Nadeau each picked up a decision.
- Will Ebert recorded an 8-0 major decision over Ethan Ducca of Bloomsburg in the 184 lb., bout. The major decision was Ebert's second of the season.
