Bearcats and Retrievers Tip Off Thursday at 6:07 p.m.

STORY LINES

- Binghamton (12-12, 4-7 AE) fell 68-62 to Bryant on the road on Saturday. Sophomore guard Bella Pucci paced the Bearcats with 14 points and five rebounds. Fellow sophomore guard Leah Middleton added 11 points while leading the team with seven rebounds. She also matched the team-high with five assists.

- Pucci ranks seventh in the America East in rebounding (5.7 rpg.). Redshirt junior guard Jadyn Weltz places third in the conference in steals (1.9 spg.) and sixth in assists (2.9 apg.). Weltz and sophomore guard Yanniah Boyd lead the Bearcats in scoring, both averaging 9.5 points per game.

- As a team, Binghamton leads the conference with 8.8 steals per contest. The Bearcats also rank second in rebounding (35.0 rpg.). 

- UMBC (12-10, 5-5 AE) defeated defending America East champion Maine 71-53 at home on Saturday. Jordon Lewis led the Retrievers with 17 points, five rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Tiara Bellamy added 14 points, five boards, three steals, and two assists. Talia Davis posted 11 points and eight rebounds, while Jaden Walker contributed 10 points and four rebounds.

- Lewis stands seventh in the conference in scoring, averaging 11.2 points per game while Carmen Yánez sits fourth in assists with 3.2 per game.

- As a team, UMBC ranks third in the America East in scoring defense (56.3 ppg.). The Retrievers also place fifth in the conference in rebounding with an average of 33.5 boards per game.

- Binghamton leads the all-time series 29-14. Earlier this season, the Bearcats defeated UMBC 60-50 on the road on Jan 4. Junior guard Kaia Goode led Binghamton led the Bearcats with 15 points and also dished out four assists.
