JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. - Host East Tennessee State (10-2) broke open a 1-0 game with nine runs over the final four innings and defeated Binghamton baseball (3-6) 10-0 Sunday afternoon at Thomas Stadium.
ETSU belted hour home runs and pulled away with three runs in the fifth, four in the seventh and two in the eighth and final inning.Â

Zach Rogacki had three of Binghamton's five hits.Â
Junior starter
Colin Rhein worked 6.0 innings and struck out five. He kept the Bucs in check aside from the fifth inning, when ETSU strung together three hits, including a 2-run home run. Rhein scattered five hits and four runs and didn't walk a batter.Â
The Bearcats stranded six runners through the first seven innings, missing a chance to grab an early lead.Â
Binghamton next heads to Columbia, Mo. for a four-game weekend set against SEC member Missouri.Â
