VESTAL, N.Y.Ā ā Binghamton University Division of Athletics has announced that it will holdĀ
Binghamton Kids Community Day, a free basketball clinic for local boys and girls in first through sixthĀ grades, set forĀ
Saturday, Sept. 20Ā from 11 amĀ ā 12:30 p.m.Ā at the Events Center - the home of the Bearcats basketball teams.
The clinic will be led by Head Men's Basketball Coach
Levell Sanders, Head Women's Basketball Coach
Mary Grimes, along with Bearcats coaching staff and student-athletes. Young athletes will have the unique opportunity to learn directly from Division I coaches and players while developing fundamental basketball skills in a fun, engaging environment.
"This event is all about giving back to the community and inspiring the next generation," said Coach Sanders. "We want kids to leave with more confidence, excitement, and love for the game."
Coach Grimes added, "Our student-athletes are great role models for young kids, and this clinic allows them to connect with the community in a meaningful way. We can't wait to see the gym filled with future Bearcats."
