VESTAL, N.Y. - Jessica McLean of Binghamton women's tennis travels to Rome, Ga. for the 2026 ITA Conference Masters Championships.

For the first time in program history, the Bearcats are sending an individual to the Master Championship to represent Binghamton and the Northeast Conference.

McLean qualified for the tournament by winning the NateRentals.com Binghamton Championships back in early October.

McLean is set to take on No. 5 seed Anastasiia Grechkina from Pepperdine University, who is representing the West Coast Conference, in the opening round of 32. Match start time is set for Thursday, Nov. 5 at 12:30 p.m.

"I'm very excited," McLean said. "It's an honor to be able to go. There's going to be tough competition and it's going to be a great experience."

The freshman from Pembroke Pines, Fla. has already made her mark at Binghamton, entering the tournament with a 9-2 singles record this fall. She's also collected seven doubles victories.

The top four singles players (semifinalists) will qualify for the NCAA Singles Championship later this month.
