NORTH EASTON, Mass. – Binghamton women's tennis (1-3, 0-1 NEC) fell to Stonehill (1-5, 1-0 NEC) in their first Northeast Conference match of the season.
Binghamton was swept in doubles action before making their way to singles play.
Nitya Vyas was Binghamton's lone winner on Sunday, winning 6-1, 6-4 to claim Binghamton their only point against Sky Hawks.
Apara Khandare battled in a three-set match, but would fall just short 3-6, 6-4, 4-6.
The Bearcats will return to action on Saturday at home against D'Youville at the Lane – Starke Tennis Center.
