VESTAL, N.Y. - Binghamton University Athletics achieved a historic milestone during its annual Day of Giving, raising $219,226 from 1,016 donors, marking one of the most successful fundraising efforts in program history.

The 24-hour campaign rallied alumni, fans, families, and friends nationwide in support of more than 430 Binghamton student-athletes. The effort nearly doubled the fundraiser's total in 2025, and more than tripled the amount raised in 2024, continuing a strong upward trajectory for the division.

"I am truly amazed at the continued support from Bearcat Nation in making Athletic Giving Day 2026 a resounding success," said Eugene Marshall, Jr., Director of Athletics. "All of the funds raised directly support the real winners, our student-athletes, helping them achieve success both academically and athletically."

Men's soccer led all programs, surpassing $30,000 and recording the highest number of donors. Softball and wrestling also delivered standout performances, generating strong participation and engagement from their respective communities.

Multiple programs unlocked challenge matches and exceeded fundraising goals, maximizing the impact of each contribution and fueling momentum throughout the day.

Funds raised during the Day of Giving will directly support the overall student-athlete experience, ensuring Binghamton Athletics continues to provide meaningful opportunities for success on and off the field.

Binghamton Athletics continues to build on its fundraising momentum, having raised more than $113.5 million over the past three years, while reinforcing its commitment to providing a championship-level experience for its student-athletes.
