WEST WINDSOR, N.J. – Binghamton women's tennis competed in two Northeast Conference tournament matches, that took place on opposite sides of the clock on Thursday.
No. 9 BINGHAMTON 4, No. 8 MERCYHURST 0 – 9 A.M. FIRST ROUND START TIME
Kicking off the first match of the day, doubles pairs

Adelie Wilson made quick work in doubles action with both pairs winning 6-1 to claim the doubles point.
In the No. 6 singles, Wilson cruised to a victory by winning in straight sets 6-0, 6-0.
Samantha Jaros dominated in her match against Celeste Davis in the straight sets 6-0, 6-0 in the No. 5 position, giving the Bearcats a 3-0 lead.
Angel Walia earned a 6-4, 6-0 victory in the No. 3 singles slot to give Binghamton their fourth and final point to move on to the quarterfinal round.
This is the Bearcats' first postseason victory in 10 years and their first NEC tournament win.
No. 1 FDU 4, No. 8 Binghamton 0 – 8 P.M. QUARTERFINAL START TIME
The top-seeded Knights came in fresh and made their mark early against the Bearcats, winning doubles matches one and two to go ahead 1-0.
The Bearcats fought hard despite playing earlier in the hot conditions. Khandare took the first set in the No. 2 singles match 6-3. However, her match went unfinished as FDU took three singles points to earn the 4-0 victory in the quarterfinal round, ending the Bearcats' season.
