VESTAL, N.Y. – The Binghamton golf team is set to compete in its final tournament of the 2025-26 regular season this weekend when the Bearcats play in the Rutherford Intercollegiate from Saturday through Sunday at the Penn State Blue Course in University Park, Pa.
The Bearcats are competing in this tournament for the third year in a row. The Penn State Blue Course is Par 71, covering 7,130 yards. This weekend's 54-hole tournament features Binghamton facing host Penn State, Bucknell, Connecticut, Delaware, George Mason, Long Island, Loyola Chicago, Rhode Island, St. John's, St. Thomas, Towson and Yale.
Binghamton last played in Villanova's Wildcat Fazio Invitational from April 6-7. The Bearcats finished 11th out of 12 teams. Both
Brandon Conner and
Jack Tebeau led Binghamton by tying for 44th out of 72 golfers at 233/20-over par. Conner posted scores of 79-75-79 throughout his three rounds, while Tebeau finished with scores of 80-75-78.
The first two rounds of the Rutherford Intercollegiate will be played on Saturday. The opening round consists of double tee times starting at 7:30 a.m., while round two takes place right after the conclusion of round one. The final round begins at 8 a.m., on Sunday with split tees.
