Biography
Senior Season (2018-19)
- An America East All-Conference Selection
- Placed second in the 100, third in the 50 free at the America East Championships
- The America East Men’s Swimmer of the Week on Jan. 29
- Won eight indvidual events during the regular season
- Swept the 50 free and 100 free in four dual meets (Siena/Niagara on Oct. 20, NJIT on Nov. 17, Canisius on Dec. 1 and St. Bonaventure on Jan. 26)
- Broke the Binghamton pool record in the 50 free during the dual meet against Colgate on Oct. 27
- Part of the 200 free relay team that broke the Binghamton pool record in the dual meet against Colgate on Oct. 27
- Received the Binghamton University Athletic Department’s Male John Bilos Award for his outstanding career accomplishments
- Named the program’s men’s team MVP and received its Hard 2 Outdo (H2O) Award for his dedication and determination
- Member of the Fall AD Honor Roll with a 3.3 GPA or higher
Junior Season (2017-18)
- Earned all-conference honors by placing second in both the 100 free (45.53) and 50 free (20.77) at the America East Championships
- Won the 50 Free (21.39) and 100 Free (48.17) against Canisius
- Also won the 50 Free (22.10) and 100 Free (47.98)Â against Niagara and Colgate
- Named the America East Men's Swimmer of the Week on Nov. 1 and Dec. 5
Sophomore Season (2016-17)
- Took first in 100 Free vs. Vermont and NJIT
- Took first in 50 Free vs. Niagara and Siena
- Took first in both 50 Free and 100 Free vs. Colgate and Virginia Military
- Took first in 50 Free and 100 Free vs. Canisius
- Grabbed second in 50 Free and 100 Free in Florida International Invitational
- Took First in 50 Free and 100 Free vs. St. Bonaventure
- Finished eighth in 50 Free at ECAC Championships
Freshman Season (2015-16)
- Helped the 400 free relay team finish first vs Army, NJIT and UVM
- Took first in the 100 free vs Niagara and Siena
- Helped the 200 free relay team finish sixth at Bucknell Invitational
- Helped the 400 free relay team finish first vs St. Bonaventure
- Helped the 200 free relay team place second at ECACs
- Helped the 400 free relay team finish fourth at ECACs
Before Binghamton
- Lettered six times in six years at Canandaigua Academy
- Competed in the 50 and100 freestyle
- Monroe County Division 3 Co-Swimmer of the Year
- Daily Messenger Swimmer of the Year
- 2015 Sectional Champion 100 free
Personal
- Parents are Karen and Gordy Brion
- Mother Karen also attended Binghamton University
- Majored in environmental science with a concentration in ecosystems
