In August of 2004, the Sports Medicine Facility was opened on the floor level of the Events Center. The Events Center Sports Medicine Facility includes treatment areas, taping stations, a rehabilitation area, office, physician exam room and a hydrotherapy room. The West Gym also has a Sports Medicine Facility for the wrestling, volleyball, swimming and diving and golf programs.The West Gym Sports Medicine Facility includes treatment areas, a taping station, hydrotherapy room, rehabilitation space and an office.
In June of 2017, due to the generosity of Dr. Bai Lee the hydrotherapy room within the Events Center Sports Medicine Facility installed a Grimm CryoTherm unit. This purchase will be greatly utilized and will benefit so many of our student-athletes for decades.
The Sports Medicine Facility in the Events Center is housed with six full-time staff members. Two full-time staff members are housed in the West Gym Sports Medicine Facility. One full-time staff member is housed in the Baseball Sports Medicine Facility.
