Spring 2021 Guest Attendance Policy

As of April 2, 2021 Binghamton University is allowing a limited number of guests for home outdoor athletic contests (200) and home indoor athletic contests (100).

Below are the protocols and guidelines that will be followed during Binghamton University athletic contests to help ensure the health and safety of all involved:

• Total attendance at any event is limited to 200 guests outdoors and 100 guests indoors
    o Some athletic venues may have additional constraints due to facility details
          • Patricia A. Saunders Aquatic Center - no guests
          • Softball Complex - limited guests

• Each Binghamton University student-athlete and coach participating in the contest will be limited (2-4) in the number of guests they are allowed
    o Binghamton University student-athletes and coaches who wish to have guests attend their contest must pre-register (name and contact information) their pass list guests utilizing the ARMS compliance software/app
    o Deadline for inclusion on the student-athlete and coach pass list is four hours prior to the scheduled contest

• The visiting team's travel party will be allowed 2 guests per person if the venue space allows.
    o Visiting team guests must pre-register (name and contact information)
    o Deadline for inclusion on the student and coach pass list is 11:59 p.m. the night before the contest

All guests are required to wear a mask or cloth face covering that always covers their nose and mouth while on the Binghamton University campus.
• All guests will be assigned a seating location in the event contact tracing is required.
• Seating will be configured in pairs of seats that will be spaced, at a minimum, 6 feet apart during the contest.
• Signage will be placed outside the ticket booth to designate socially distant spacing while waiting in line.
• Guests will be allowed to enter the venue 30 minutes prior to game time.

Upon arrival to the venue:
▪ Guests MUST present identification at the venue’s designated ticket booth.
▪ For NCAA compliance purposes, guests provided admission on a student-athlete’s pass list will be required to sign a pass list document prior to receiving their tickets.
▪ Upon verification of guests being included on the pass list, a ticket office employee will provide guests with a ticket identifying their assigned seating location.
▪ Guests then will proceed to the venue’s entrance where a ticket office employee will ask guests to sanitize their hands.
▪ Ticket office employee will then scan tickets for admission into the venue.
     o Guests MUST sit in the assigned location.
     o Guests MUST practice social distancing. Guests will not be permitted to congregate.
     o Extra masks will be available at the ticket booth.
• At the conclusion of the contest guests MUST immediately exit the venue.
    o If waiting for their student-athlete, guests MUST wait in their vehicle and the student-athlete will come to them.
    o The venue will be cleared after every contest.
    o Tailgating is prohibited.
• Guests will enter the venue at a location that is separate from the location in which student-athletes and coaches will be entering the venue.
Members of the public who are not guests of student-athletes or coaches are not permitted to attend Binghamton University athletic contests.
• Concessions stands will NOT be available during contests.
• There will be NO distribution of game day materials (e.g., programs, giveaways).
• Restrooms WILL be available within the venue.
Guests must follow New York State Department of Health and Broome County Department of Health guidance and recommendations.
