Most Common Student-Athlete Last Names
As part of our 2021-22 celebration of the 75th Anniversary of Binghamton Athletics, we delve deeper into the student-athletes who have competed for the University over the nine decades. In this segment, we have uncovered the 18 most common last names of Binghamton athletes through the years. Each last name is represented by a captain and we have created a fictitious tournament bracket, pitting the names against one another and allowing fans to vote for which they think is the more common last name. The pairings and results will be featured on our Twitter (@BU_Bearcats) and Instagram (@binghamtonathletics) accounts with the "winner" unveiled at the conclusion of the campaign.
