Buffalo Bills welcome Binghamton Flag Football
“Congratulations to Binghamton University on the addition of Women’s Flag Football to the Bearcats’ sports offerings. The Buffalo Bills in partnership with the New York State Public High School Athletic Association, the New York Jets, and New York Giants, have worked tirelessly to provide opportunities for Girls and Women to participate in Flag Football throughout New York State in the past five years. This spring 255 New York high school teams will be vying for the title of Girls Flag State Champion. These same girls will now have the opportunity to compete for an NCAA National Championship because of pioneers of the sport like Binghamton University. It is inspiring and the Buffalo Bills could not be prouder to support this incredible initiative.”

The Buffalo Bills are leading the charge in the growth of girls’ flag football in the Western New York region. The team has supported high school programs through grants and activation events. The NFL has strengthened its investment in flag football as a non-contact, inclusive, and fast-growing year-round alternative to tackle football.
