Mark Ryan

A native of Broome County, Mark Ryan joined the Binghamton coaching staff in Fall 2024 after serving three years on the staff at Elmira College.

At Elmira, Ryan was the assistant baseball coach and recruiting coordinator while also acting as the school's men’s golf coach. In his time with the Soaring Eagles baseball program, Ryan led the hitters to record numbers in all offensive categories. He also produced a top 25 statistical defensive team in the country and had a Gold Glove Award winner under his watch at second base.

During his playing career at Elmira, Ryan was a captain on the baseball team, appearing in 66 games. Throughout his career, Ryan played a majority of his games at second base, but also made appearances at shortstop and third base.

Before Elmira, Ryan attended Union Endicott High School, where he lettered and served as team captain in both baseball and golf. He helped lead the baseball program to a pair of Section 4 titles and was named all-conference as a senior.

Ryan graduated from Elmira in 2021 with a bachelor's degree in business administration and finance. He then earned his master's degree in general education from the school in 2023.
