As a Freshman (2021):

• Made five appearances with one start
• Worked six innings
• Struck out pair in 1.0 IP against Stony Brook on May 21

As a Freshman (2020 - season was halted on March 12 due to COVID-19):

• Made three appearances - all in relief
• Didn't allow a run in 8.0 innings
• Struck out five and only allowed three hits
• Went season-long 3.1 innings of no-hit ball at Longwood on Feb. 29
• Struck out three in 3.0 innings of 1-hit pitching at Wofford in collegiate debut

In High School:

• Four-year varsity letterman for Smithtown East High School
• Earned Suffolk County all-league 3 honors all 4 years of high school
• One time all-county selection for Suffolk County
• Holds all-time career records in both wins and strikeouts for Smithtown East
• Honor Roll student

Personal:

• Parents are Robert and Linda Goodwin
• Has one sibling, Jenna (25)
• Also played football in high school, both his father and grandfather played college football
