Pete Corasaniti

Corasaniti begins his third season with the Bearcats coaching staff in 2018-19 after arriving in Summer 2016.

He came directly from Syracuse University, where he served two years assisting Jim Boeheim and his coaching staff. A former head team manager for the Orange, Corasaniti worked as a team manager from 2010-2014 and a graduate assistant from 2014-2016. His responsibilities included opponent scouting, film editing and breakdown, advanced analytical analysis, travel and player development. He was voted the 2016 Graduate Assistant of the Year by Managers on a Mission.

Corasaniti was part of two Final Four teams at SU in 2013 and 2016.

He worked at the Jim Boeheim Big Orange Basketball Camp and at the Mike Hopkins and Gerry McNamara Basketball Academy. He was a part of the athletics department’s committee which organized the annual Midnight Madness events, which drew 10,000+ fans. 

He graduated from Syracuse with a bachelor’s degree in sport management in 2014 (3.53 GPA) with a minor in coaching. He then earned his master’s degree in new media management from the Newhouse School of Public Communications in 2016 (3.52 GPA).

A native of Syracuse, he was a three-sport athlete at Christian Brothers Academy. 

Pete and his wife Ashley currently live in Binghamton.
