Junior Season (2021-22)

  • Played in all 29 games with 18 starts
  • Averaged 9.0 points
  • Led team with 59 3-pointers
  • Shot 39% from 3-point range and 80% from line
  • Had 12 games with double-digit points
  • Poured in career-high 29 points (10-of-14 FG) in 25 minutes of action at Columbia on Nov. 17
  • Hit 7-of-10 3-pointers against Lions
  • Scored 21 points (5-of-7 3-pt.) vs. Albany on Feb. 16
  • Also netted 20 points (7-of-9 FG) in win over UMass Lowell on Jan. 2
  • Scored 12 points (3-of-4 3pt.) in quarterfinal win at UNH on March 6

Sophomore Season (2020-21)

  • Played in all 18 games with 13 starts
  • Averaged 10.8 points in 28 minutes per game (second on team)
  • Shot 37% from field, 35% from 3-point range and team-best 88% from line (22-of-25 FT)
  • Led team with 40 3-pointers, fourth-best in America East
  • Made at least two 3-pointers 11 times, including season-high four in four different games
  • Scored season-high 20 points vs. UMass Lowell on Jan. 16
  • Scored 15 or more points five times
  • Netted 4-of-6 from long distance en route to 19 points at Hartford on Jan. 3
  • Sent season-opener against Marist into overtime with clutch 3-pointer at buzzer
  • Had mid-season stretch of five straight double-digit scoring games and finished by reaching twin digits in 10 of last 13
  • Made last 13 free throw attempts
  • Three times had six assists in a game - the last being the regular season finale win at NJIT

R-Freshman Season (2019-20)

  • Played in 12 games for UNC-Charlotte before deciding to transfer in March
  • Averaged 9.3 minutes for 49ers team that went 16-13, including 10-8 mark in Conference USA
  • Tallied first collegiate points on pair of free throws against Maryland Eastern Shore on Dec. 19
  • Played season-high 18 minutes at Rice on Feb. 15, 2020 and handed out three assists
  • Missed final month of season with injury
  • Red-shirted 2018-19 season


In High School

  • Three-year standout at Cooperstown High School, where he played for his father, David Bertram
  • Scored school-record 1,897 points
  • Also holds school records for career 3-pointers (264), assists (417) and steals (181), season points (783 in 2015-16) and points in a game (55 vs. Moravia in 2016 state playoff quarterfinals) 
  • Led Cooperstown to back-to-back Section 3 championships as sophomore and junior
  • As junior led all Section 3 with 31.3 scoring average
  • New York State Class C co-Player of the Year in 2017
  • Two-time Oneonta Daily Star Boys Basketball Player of the Year
  • Played his final scholastic season at Vermont Academy (2017-18)
  • Shot 50% from beyond arc and averaged nearly 20 points, earning all-conference honors
  • Received more than 20 Division I scholarship offers
  • Also was elite tennis player with four sectional titles and combined 72-5 singles and doubles record at Cooperstown
  • Advanced to the 2016 NYS championship quarterfinals, played at Flushing Meadows
