Eric Steinwachs begins his second season as an assistant coach at Binghamton in 2021. He works with the goalkeepers.
Steinwachs was an assistant coach at Cortland from 2017-19. During that stretch, he helped assist the Red Dragons to a 41-14-6 record, two NCAA appearances, a Sweet Sixteen appearance in 2018 and two regular season SUNYAC titles (in 2017 and 2018).
Steinwachs was directly involved in goalkeeper training at Cortland, where in 2018, the Red Dragons ranked third nationally in shutouts and No. 13 in goals-against average. He also was involved with various aspects of recruiting.
Since his stint at Cortland, Steinwachs has been a volunteer assistant coach at Binghamton in the spring of 2020 - following the departure of Emmett - and at Ithaca College in the fall of 2020. He also volunteered at Williamsville East High School last fall.
A 2017 graduate of Mercyhurst University, Steinwachs was a forward on the men's soccer team which captured a pair of PSAC titles.
