Biography
Freshman Season (2024-25)
- Competed in nine meets
- Placed third in the 100 breast and was eighth in both the 200 breast and 200 IM at the America East Championships (Nov. 19-22)
- The America East Rookie of the Week on Oct. 22
- Won five individual events during the regular season and swam on six first-place relay teams
- Swept the 50 breast and 100 IM against Marist on Jan. 25
- Won the 100 breast against Le Moyne (Sept. 23)
- Took first in the 100 breast and 200 IM against Bryant (Oct. 18-19)
- Member of the Fall 2024 AD Honor Roll (3.3 GPA or above)
Before Binghamton
- A six-year letterwinner at Chenango Valley
- Placed fourth overall in both the 200 IM and 100 breast at the 2024 New York State (NYS) Championships
- The NYS Section 4 record holder in both the 200 IM and 100 breast
- Also ran cross country
- A 2024 Academic All-American
Personal
- Parents are Joe and Colleen Schultz
- Enrolled in the Watson School of Engineering
- His sister Katie swam for the Bearcats from 2019-22 and his brother Michael is a graduate student transfer on the 2024-25 team
