Jesse Fuca begins his seventh season as an assistant coach at Binghamton in 2024-25. He works with the sprinters and hurdlers.  A 2012 alumni of the university, Fuca has since coached at four collegiate programs, including three at the NCAA Division I level. 

During his time at Binghamton, Fuca has helped coach the sprinters and middle distance runners (200-800) and hurdlers to 13 America East individual or relay titles, 44 all-conference performances and 17 school records. In addition, 92 performances by the sprinters and hurdlers and crack the program's Top 10 All-Time Performances. There have also been 11 Top-8 individual and relay finishes at the ECAC/IC4A championships.

The 2023-24 season alone featured Marcus Johnson qualifying for the NCAA East Region Meet in the 400 hurdles, the men's 4x400 relay team sweeping the America East and IC4A indoor titles and Hillary Abankwa sweeping the conference and ECAC indoor crowns in the women's 500. 

After graduating from Binghamton, Fuca was a graduate assistant at Division III Catholic University, followed by stints at George Washington (2014-15), Xavier (2015-17) and Hartford (2017-18). At Xavier, Fuca coached seven conference champions and 22 all-conference selections. At Hartford, he was was the Hawks' recruiting coordinator and coached the America East women's outdoor heptathlon champion.

Fuca graduated cum laude from Binghamton with a degree in English. He was member of the National College Athlete Honor Society. In 2014, he earned his master's degree in secondary education from Catholic University.

Fuca holds several certifications including USATF Level 1, USATF Level 2 in Sprints, Hurdles, and Relays, USATF Level 2 in Jumps and USTFCCCA Strength and Conditioning.

In 2020, Fuca helped charter the Binghamton Student-Athletes of Color for Success (SACS). He has been the advisor to the group ever since.
