Biography
Freshman Year (2025-26)
- Competed in five cross country meets
- Earned second-team all-conference honors with a 12th-place finish at the America East Championships (Oct. 31)
- Was 15th out of 44 runners at the Colgate Harry Lang Invitational (Aug. 30)
- Finished 21st out of 182 runners at the Canisius Alumni Classic (Oct. 18)
- Competed in four track & field meets
- Was fifth in the 3,000 at the Kane Invitational (Feb. 14)
Before Binghamton
- A four-year letterwinner at Farmingdale
- Named second-team all-state by the NYSSWA for the 2024 cross country season
- Finished 10th overall at the 2024 NYS Federation Cross Country Meet
- Won the NYS Class A Section 8 cross country title and was 17th at the ensuing NYS Class A meet
- Placed 13th overall in the 3,200 at the 2025 Nike Indoor National Meet
- Part of the 4x800 relay team that set the school record at the 2025 Adidas National Meet
- The team MVP each year in cross country and track
- Earned the President’s Award for cross country during his senior year as the top runner in Nassau County
- A member of the National Honor Society

- Parents are Martha and Evangelos Thomatos
- Majoring in business administrationÂ
- Originally from Greece and visits family there every summer
