Before Binghamton
A five-year letterwinner at Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake
Named the 2026 Capital District Sports Woman of the year
Earned her school’s Teresa MacGuire Award for Athletic Excellence 
A two-time New York State Sportswriters and Coaches of Girls Sports (NYSSWCOGS) All-State selection
Named an all-star by both the Suburban Council and Times Union during her career.
Helped led her team to the NYS Class AA championship
As a junior, she hit .395, homered 11 times and was a perfect 34-for-34 in stolen bases
Also played field hockey and was named all-state by the NYSSWCOG as a senior 
Earned all-star honors in field hockey from the Suburban Council and Time Union
A five-time New York State (NYS) Scholar-Athlete in both softball and field hockey
Her travel ball team was the Lady Dukes

Personal
Parents are Kim and Joe Knapik
Plans on majoring in engineering
Her brother Aidan played football at Marist as did her father at RPI
