Kate Richard completed her first full season with the Bearcats in 2024.

Richard is a 2018 graduate of Binghamton University, where she was a four-time all-conference selection at third base during her career. She was a starter on the Binghamton teams that won the 2015 America East title as well as the 2016 and 2017 regular-season conference championships. Richard finished her prolific career with a .322 batting average, 34 home runs (tied for second all-time in Binghamton program history) and 143 RBI (second all time).
