Kike Rafiu

"Kike" (pronunced key-kay) Omowumi Rafiu enters her second season as the Director of Operations at Binghamton University in 2019-20. 

Rafiu had served as a graduate assistant at Georgetown for two years before coming to Binghamton. The Hoyas advanced to the WNIT both times, including a second-round appearance in 2018.

Off the court, Rafiu is the founder of Girls Rise Up Africa. A non-profit organization, it uses sports as a tool to facilitate girls' development in Nigeria.

During her undergraduate career at Georgetown, Rafiu was selected as one of only 11 current and former student-athletes to attend the 2016 United Nations Sports Summit.

Rafiu graduated in 2016 from Georgetown with a bachelors degree in Justice and Peace Studies and her masters in Sports Management in 2018. She was named to the 2013-14 BIG EAST All-Academic Team.
