Maggie Moore

Maggie Moore begins her fifth season with the Binghamton women's basketball program and her third season as an assistant coach in 2024-25. She was the Coordinator of Player Development her first two seasons.

Moore came to Binghamton from the University of Albany, where she was a graduate assistant with the Great Danes' program from 2018-20. 

While at Albany, she was involved with several facets of the Great Dane program, including recruiting, community outreach, running the scout team and video coordination. In addition, she served as the interim Coordinator of Player Development during her first season, until the position was filled in the spring of 2019.

A 2017 graduate of Edinboro, Moore was a four-year letterwinner on the women's basketball team. She was named both an Edinboro and PSAC Scholar-Athlete each season.

Moore earned her bachelor's degree in pre-veterinary medicine and minored in environmental science. She went on to earn her master's degree from Albany in education policy and leadership – with a concentration in higher education – in 2020

Originally from Olean, N.Y., Moore comes from a basketball family. Her father played at St. Bonaventure and Mansfield before coaching at Pitt-Bradford. Her brothers Zach, Sam, and Alex all played at Pitt-Bradford, with Zach finishing his career as a Graduate transfer at St. Bonaventure, while Sam and Alex transferred to Edinboro where they finished out their careers. In addition, her youngest brother Adam played on the Washington and Jefferson baseball team. Furthermore, her mother played soccer at St. Bonaventure.
