After a successful four-year career as a student-athlete at Binghamton, Gaby Gold joined the coaching staff in 2015.
In 2015, Gold helped current goalkeeper Katie Hatziyianis to a 107 save season and a .770 save percentage.Â
Gold posted a 1.03 goals against average in 52 career games spanning three seasons. She also had a hand in 17 shutouts. As a senior in 2014, she started all 19 games, shared six shutouts and owned a 1.09 goals against average. A vocal leader and team captain, Gold graduated this past May with a bachelor's degree in human development.
She was a multiple member of the AD and America East Honor Rolls.
"We're really excited for Gaby to transition into a coaching role," McClellan said. "She was a great player and an exceptional student-athlete at Binghamton. She was known for her communication and organization skills and we're happy to have her join our staff. I know she will do a great job with our goalkeepers. It's a huge benefit to our team to have that additional person ... and someone who has just been in their shoes."
