Evelyn Thompson

Evelyn Thompson enters her first season as an assistant coach at Binghamton in 2025-26.

Thompson, meanwhile, arrives from UMass Lowell, where she was the recruiting coordinator this past season. It marked her second stint with an America East program, having also been the Interim Head Coach/Recruiting Coordinator at Stony Brook from 2009-11. In between those stops, Thompson was the head coach of the Michigan Crossover AAU Elite Team (2011-13), a consultant for Blue Star Basketball (2013-15), an assistant coach at Tennessee Tech (2015-16) and Tennessee State (2016-17) as well as the head coach at Cleveland State Community College (2017-23) and an assistant at Miami (Ohio) during the 2023-24 season.

Prior to her role at Stony Brook, Thompson was an assistant coach at Arizona State (1990-93), Western Kentucky (1993-94), Buffalo (2002-07) and Michigan State (2007-09).
