Kara Kellett-Williams started in the Binghamton Division of Athletics in February 2022 as a Financial Operations Associate, and a year later, began her current role as the Assistant to the Director of Athletics. 

She is involved in the day-to-day operations of the office of the Director of Athletics as well as coordinating several of our special events including the Celebrating Women's Athletics Luncheon, the Matthews Auto Bearcats Golf Classic, and the Hall of Fame induction.  

Kellett-Williams grew up in the Binghamton area, graduating from nearby Chenango Valley High School in 2002. She was a three-sport athlete in high school (tennis, volleyball and softball) and went on to play tennis at St. John Fisher, from where she graduated in 2005 with a degree in sports management.

Following her college graduation, she interned with the Binghamton Athletic Department during the summer of 2005 and then had short stints working at the Greater Binghamton Sports Complex as well as the Binghamton Brigadiers (indoor football team that folded before the season started).  
 
Beginning in 2006, Kellett-Williams worked for the American Hockey League's Binghamton Senators and Binghamton Devils for 16 years.  She worked her way up through many positions including Account Executive, Assistant Ticketing Manager/Administrative Assistant, Ticketing Manager and Office Manager throughout the years.  Her responsibilities included accounting, ticketing, team travel, and day to day operations of the office. Currently, Kellett-Williams serves on the Southern Tier Hockey Association's Board of Directors.

Kellett-Williams’ husband Josh is a professional firefighter, as well as works in video operations for several sports related organizations including the Binghamton Black Bears hockey club and the Binghamton University Division of Athletics. Their daughter Aria currently enjoys all things hockey, rock climbing golf, and nature.
